B10 GCHQ to issue “Platform Guidance” in the summer

GCHQ has responded to the reports of BB10 not being secure enough for government, they have stated “We have a long standing security partnership with BlackBerry and this gives us confidence that the BlackBerry 10 platform is likely to represent a viable solution for UK Government.” Let’s hope there’s light at the end of this one for BB.

Looks like CESG has deemed the new BB10 as not secure enough for essential government work due to the BlackBerry Balance feature! A bit of a blow to RIM I mean BlackBerry!

Silent Circle - An interesting secure communications solution

Read an article on Mike Janke’s Silent Circle encrypted communication service and a recent update which allows secure storage and transfer of files up to 60MB in size.

Looks like an interesting idea, I hope they do well.

Everything Everywhere Confirms 4G UK Rollout
